The Gura Portiței factory in Jurilovca prepares fish delicacies from fish brought in by fishermen from the lagoon or the sea.
The inspiration comes from local people who know the recipes handed down from their ancestors.

Wine of Kazakhstan

A family from Jurilovca, Victori and Glafira Nicanov, have given life to the wine that delights the hearts of those who taste it, the Wine of Kazakhstan.

Made from grapes kissed by the gentle Dobrogean sun, which once was the seashore, the wine of Kazakhstan will surprise you. The vineyard is located right on the Doloșman plateau.

Merlot, Feteasca Noir or Sauvignon Blanc are just some of the varieties processed here. Its products can be bought in its own shop in the village center.

Milena Honey is a natural honey brand from Jurilovca, Tulcea County.

Initially, Cătălin Balaban set out to make a quality product for his family, and this passion has since turned into a successful local business.

Milena honey has several varieties – polyflower honey, acacia, lime, rape, but also a product specific to the area, the honey of the pond isma.

Jurilovca almond

The almond orchard in Jurilovca, a dream come true with the help of European funds. The trees planted in 2019 have started to bud and the Bălașa family members are looking confidently to the future.

Fairy Garden

Jurilovca Fairy Garden is a beautiful rose garden right on the shores of Lake Golovitsa.

Especially in May and June, the garden fills with fragrant flowers and becomes a great place for photos. Roses are especially Rosa Damascena, ideal for jam, syrup and cosmetics

From here you can leave with products carefully crafted from rose petals, but also with lots of great photos of the roses.

Katiusa Design

The women’s lipoven costume is spectacular. It retains the structure of the old Russian costume from around Moscow and central Volga, where the Staroverians, known in Romania as Lipovans, are said to have come from.

The traditional men’s costume is also special and has unique elements.

All these, along with traditional ornaments and decorative objects, are recreated by Valentina in the Katiușa Design Studio.
